“Keith, I should have kissed you. Maybe I would have still been ok.” Shelly whispered, she tried to think of anything that would distract her from the pain, but even the thoughts that made her smile were a fleeting help. While trying to find something other than the pain to focus on; Shelly tried so hard not to accept her reality that she hadn’t noticed the morning sunlight which started brightening the Davison Estate.

While Shelly looked for something to use as a crutch; she noticed that the main house was close by. The sight of a door had her distracted from the pain, she suddenly believed that she would be able to drag herself to the side entrance door; she just knew that she was going to make it. Shelly was in so much pain that she no longer feared running into Jack, instead some part of her just wanted her father to help her.
